thought i'd put this in humor cause it'd be hilarious but... anyone ever thought about putting one of those bush guards on a vibe or similar car? it'd sure help with hittin a deer on the highway haha. or maybe form one of the police cars bush guards into a vibe guard. i think it'd look pretty cool on an older vibe like mine.

I suppose it could look pretty mean if the car were used as a patrol car or something. I can see it.There's a thread on here somewhere w/pics that has a Vibe that acually is a ptrol car

I would not mind having one like this with the lights on it. It would prob have to be custom made, but that doesn't seem too hard.

I have always liked the look of off road/ rally lights. In the UP there are alot of times that I wish I had more light just have not done anything to fix that prob.

Isn't it called a 'brush' guard?

yeah man, you're right. I had always considered putting one on my S-10 when I had it. I had the thing lowered and wanted a small brush guard and the fender flares off of the 4x4 version of the S-10. Not sure what I was thinkin, but I'm glad i didn't do it lol

it is usually brush guard that covers the front protecting the lights and stuff, the smaller one like i posted are called bull bars. But people knew what you ment and that is all that matters

My buddy always called them "frat bars". Good for running over fraternity douche bags.

(removed), and i thought the mentions about the vibe being used as a police cruiser in the manual were stupid, thats sweet!! but how bad would it suck to get pulled over by a vibe in a sports car. haha

Actually, I believe a neighboring city has a Toyota Matrix unmarked cruiser. My dad was pulled over by it for window tint.

Yep, I saw that while lurking too. I even showed my friend today. I have honestly not much to say. It is just so... surprising that someone would do that. It doesn't mean that it isn't awesome. That right there is totally awesome. I want to see it in the mud.
