xm radio! if your planing on it better have close too 300 bucks ready. i got the delphi unit so i can set it up on the dash 2fast and 2furious style(every car had some kind electronic gizmos)anyway the mount that comes with it useless new one 30 bucks i said the add in the paper xm radio 99 dollars good deal you say, it gets better. it comes with absolutely nothing to hook it up with so you need to buy o car or home kit 70 bucks each i already had a fm modulator in my car so i hook it to that and get terrible static. i go back to the store and they say i need the modulator that they have so it wont make noise because apparently not any modulator wold work they assured me this will, so okay i bite how much is it 50 dollars. then the activation fee monthly fee which you cant pay monthly(4,6,12 monthly at a time). and this thing come with a cluster of wires with a wired attenae which sucks.and i only like about 13 of the 101 chanels. but i will assume that there will be music in the morning when i turn on the radio instead of these crappy morning shows.i will install it tommorrow i had the wire out the sunroof today. the good news it looks cool and has a wireless remote.i know this probably belongs in the audio forum but i wanted to post it were someone would actually see it. im going to bed now...

quote:I would of never buy the delphi system.. Why not? I have really been looking at those for both my wifes and my car. It is a cool setup. The place that I want to do it can get a custom made mounting bracket that doesn't require any new holes in your car. The system sounds awesome and I love the XM radio channels. Still just thinking about though.

If you drive 10 miles or more a day it is definitely worth the $10 a month. There are 101 channels that are pretty varied. I listen to about 10 of the channels and although I have over 38,000 miles on my vibe I still haven't listened to all of them.-Savoy-

Check with the dealer to have them hook you up. Then you can decide for your self it is worth it. I have the Delphi unit at home and will be soon getting the portable speaker box for it. I enjoy it. Love putting on the comedy channels and getting a good mood adjustment.

I had XM since the introduction and it was great. My poor tuner box went bad so I had to cancel the service. If I save enough money after the wedding, I may get a new one.
