Hi,was wondering if anyone has put a 15" wheel set on a 1.8L 2010 vibe.. Have been told mixed answers about whether or not it will clear the calipers. Any help is appreciated!

Dealer (Toyota) told me that the 1.8's have smaller calipers then the 2.4L model so you can use a 15 fittment there, they probably have a multi fit rim at this point out there... but try and source a Corolla Rim anyway. Because of the caliper and hub offset issue with the 2.4L (2009 +) I understand you have to source a hubcentric OEM rim ( ie: Camry 16")Thats what I ended up doing and all is good. This guy helped me out actually:http://www.joycitytires.com

Never tried it... and the guys at the tire shop didn't know for sure for the 1.8. Easiest way is to get ahold of a 15" 5/100 rim and put it on.

Olders discussions on the forum mention that the 1.8L model should have the same wheel setup as the old Vibe so you should be able to downsize to 15 inch without any problem by using wheels that could be equipped on the older Corolla, Matrix and Vibe. You should't have any problem but like it has been said, the best way to know is to try one wheel. The 2.4L model have bigger brakes that won't clear a 15 inch wheel. They also have a bigger bolt-pattern but this is unrelated to the current question.
