Im going for a cleaner look with my vibe, after an incident im saving up for a full body paint job and i was wondering if these pieces on the sides of the vibe can be removed? i remember reading something about holes underneath, but if im getting the car painted i could easily patch some small holes. What do you guys think? Pic to clarify

this has been discussed in the past... the answer is they are pinned on... so if you remove them there will be holes left in your doors

If you're getting it completely repainted, it wouldn't take much to weld the holes shut and have them smoothed out.

yeah thats about the idea, i think the flared look from the bumpers and wheel wells would look even better with cleaner doors. especially if i get the roof caps like i want to.
