To anyone who has a base 2009 vibe it is easy to add delay wipers all you have to do is replace the switch I just did it. the hardest part was paying for it.

Switch (stalk) can be purchased through Rock Auto, any new Toyota one for a Camry or Corolla with that delay option should work.

My 03 came with intermittent wipers as standard. Was that not a standard feature on the 09's? If it was, then what is this thread about?

More optioned models have a variable delay setting for the front (and possibly the rear as well, someone please confirm).

my '10 base has just the low/med/hi for the fronts and low/high for the back, and i always thought it was really lame. i'm interested in this replacement-both cost and appearance relative to the oem part.edit: rock auto has what appears to be an acdelco part (so oem look and feel) but it's $85. lame...
