Those two peices remind me of the aftermath of when my dad threw a rod in the 300-6 of his 77 f-100.... peices like that were found on the road in the oil slick...

I found an engine off a wrecked 04 it has 72k on it and they want 900 for it. Seems fair to me

my vibe had 150k on it. Always changed the oil on time and the oil level was fine at the time this happpened

a little update, pulled the radiator, drained the fluids including the oil from the engine, and pulled out my intake and disconnected everything that attaches to those.

Sad day Pat... but hopefully the new engine is a ok... did they do a compression test on it before you picked it up?

added some new pics. going to be doing the head gasket, intake gaskets and clutch on the new motor before we put it back in. thats for next saturday. its coming just very slowly because i work a lot

Hope it all goes well. When the time comes (that my engine quits) I plan on putting a new(er) engine in. Can't let an Envy (monotone to boot!) sit in some junkyard!
