Sticky Blower Motor Fan

Yesterday on first start up blower not running. I went on short trip and when I got back removed filter reached in and spun fan by hand and fan ran OK rest of day. This morning same thing only two miles down road I tried fan control and blower started but ran at less than 100% speed of normal. Late today I reached in and bumped motor slightly with my hand and motor ran at normal speed. I noticed I can push or pull slightly on motor and change speed. Outside temperature is 32F. Does anyone have an idea what is going on?

Sounds like the motor brushes may be worn. Try doing a search & see what you come up with.

I would say its most likely the blower motor, but theres a tiny chance it could be the resister...but it doesnt seem likely.
