Can anyone here give me a quick run through of some common things that void a warrenty, such as CAI, hella horn, stereo, drop springs...ecton my grand am i really didnt car b/c it was used, but i would like to know before hand on my vibe before i dive in head first, i appreciate all the help

The only reason a dealership could void your warranty due to a modification is if they can prove that particular component caused the problem. Say if you add a CAI and you forget to install the filter, which makes the engine suck up dirt, which scores the cylinder walls. That would result in the warranty on the engine block and related components being void. On that note, if you install the CAI and by some fluke, you're driving along and your muffler falls off, they can't really blame that on the CAI. You see what I mean?
