So im 98% sure im not the first to have done this, after all, our headlights are pretty agressive. Also this is somewhere between exterior and electrical, move it if you feel it should be elsewhere.Im gonna get some flexible LED strips from Oznium.com, open up my headlights, and put them right at the bottom of the lens all the way across, similar to the Audi style headlights nowadays. Red to match my color scheme, and the pontiac arrow, and ill post pics as the project goes along, ive gotta get a bit more money and put my order in. Feel free to leave tips, comments, suggestions, or even questions.

just make sure they're on a separate switch as opposed to coming on when the headlights do and you got a good thing goin here. And since you're familiar with oznium, might I suggest installing one red superflux 4chip led in each headlight? It should light the WHOLE thing up red while the headights are off. I'm assuming your led strip will be facing out?And maybe one in each fog as well. They're like $3 a piece, so that's $12+shipping to light up your lights full of red I plan on doing green myself

Yeah im definately going to have a second switch, and no problems with cops, theyre just for show when im in a parking lot, etc. thanks for the tip on the superflux, i have some in the A/C vents but i didnt think about lighting up the whole headlight.

Depending on your skill level, the hardest part will be opening up the headlight.

Nice progress so far Anybody into LED mods, well .. I'm all ears I'm just about done with my summer "punch list" of things to get done (according to the wife anyways) then I'll be camped out in the basement and garage working on ALL my future LED mods. Trust me the list is really getting long (additional front running lights, mirror running, turn & brake, front & back, as well as "puddle lamps" all incorporated into the mirror, door panel, overhead console, arm rest console, feet area, too many other areas to list. Will post pics & "how to" on my cardomain page when I get there. So far all I've got done is the 3rd high mount brake light last summer. Got to get REAL busy here ................. SOON !!!!

Are yours inside the light housing? They look great! I put mine ( http://forums.genvibe.com/zero...age=2) in between the headlights and the bumper. Wish I could have got them to wrap more around the side too, but oh well.

Yeah they're inside the housing, I took the headlights off of the car (after removing the bumper of course) and about 7 minutes in the oven did the trick to open them up. I separated the "chrome" housing from the clear lense and just superglued the strip right to the plastic chrome peice so that everything would fit back together and it wouldnt block any of the headlight beam. Im really pleased with how they came out, and hopefully i can get some regular LEDs in the headlight soon.

i have seen the photo and all i can say is..woah you did a really great job on that man! i got a little inspired to have my headlights just the same. it looks mean and aggressive! lol. i think i have seen in some Audi repair forum that they have been discussing having red lights too but i guess no one in there dared to try. congrats man! :-)
