I had found a wire diagram on this site for the moons and toons package. It was very helpful when installing my JBL’s all the way around. What happened though is after installing them I had no bass. I later downloaded the instruction manual for the matrix subwoofer which had a wire diagram. The colors matched, but the polarities were opposite the other diagram. Without going into length, the speaker wires with the grey dashes on them are the negative(-) leeds. I switch all the wiring today and whow! Nice difference!

For sure, inverting the polarity on speaker woill give you a sound without bass. If all the speakers are inverted, you won't noticew any difference, as all the sprakers are in phase. But if you invert 1 or 2 of them, it will make a big differnce. This lack of bass is because when 1 speaker is pushing, the other one is pulling so there's no pression made between the 2 speakers.

here's the PDF document I downloaded. It's helpfull evben if your not going with a Bazooka. I actually bought an Infinety Basslink. I plan on installing it this weekend weather permitting. Most of the instruction in this manual are great for those of us who have decided to keep our stock radios.

Beleive me there was a difference! I had to set the bass to 6 to get any real bass on some songs. I inverted all the speaker wires and now I can leave it on 0 or +1 and get good pumping bass. I think when you reverse the polarity the woofer moves in the opposite direction. Since it is then pushing out instead of in the bass is lost becuase it's not using the door enclosure as a baffel.

Any chance you could post the diagrams or links to them? I'd like to get them.

What a beautiful day to install an Infinity Basslink! Which I finally did today. The wire diagram from the matrix subwoofer manual was indeed helpful, thank you Toyota http://www.toyotaparts4u.com/installation_manuals.htm ! I’m still tooning it but the bass is fantastic. Almost more than I wanted. I had a head ach after testing it for a wile. I wish the crossover went a little higher. I think the range I like to hear is in the 150 Hrs range. Anyway a nice improvement.
