I got home from work this afternoon just in time to walk up the street and watch the church turn the corner toward its new home. It was pretty cool seeing how the guys were under it constantly adjusting the dollies and all. I swear at least half the town of Sandwich was on that corner. Everyone cheered and clapped when it cleared the turn .Local newspaper article.My pictures!

I guess that's the opposite of hell on wheels.

Yeah, it was very neat watching the guys under there constantly cranking the wheels by hand. The company that did the moving doesn't move buildings very often, but it was really neat to see that they do it the old school way. I stood on the corner for an hour - an hour and a half watching it. It was the biggest thing to hit Sandwich in a long time !
