Getting rid of roof racks

Alright I can't stand it! Painting them black kinda helped but those caps are such a waste of money I had to do something! I went out and bought some bondo and black spray paint. I am shaving down the plastic roof rack holders into caps and making them myself. I have no idea how well it is going to work out but I can't go another day without starring (with hate) at them! Ill Post pics as I do the mod if any one else wants to attempt it.

So I successfully Removed both roof racks. I had 1 rusty screw that took me close to an hour to get out though! Now that they are off I love the way the vibe looks now! The gap isnt really that noticable but Im still gonna make my own covers for them. I'll post pics later when I finish making the caps. The reason why im doing this is because im going to order the stock spoiler an the racks would make it look like it doesn't belong. It makes such a difference to the car!

Haha well...This project has been put off for a while while I have been working on other things on the car. I am in the process, at the moment, on repairing the front piece of my (new) body kit due to a recent accident But all the projects are at a snails pace due to recent snow storms and 10 degree weather
