you will have to sand down the parts and paint with a flex agent added to the paint.

little tabs on the back side of the grille and the screws on the top of the rad support. and i think it would be like wet sanding i'm sure prepping the plastic with some liquid cleaner would be needed. i had the lower front of my Vibe painted to match the cladding (one of the pitfalls of Ebay) and i would think it best to be left to the professional. just my $.02

I feel your pain as we have the same in an '06 (Frosty w/cladding,) but I have to agree w/scherry2. That's a job for the professional that has the right equipment, tools and especially experience to do the job completely and correctly.Oh. And BTW: Black will look pretty much the same in all but the brightest sunlight. I wouldn't waste my time/money doing that. Just my .02.Besides, montone frosty looks sooooo clean and nice. A much cleaner overall look, imo.

I wish is would have bought a monotone. Way cleaner & you dont have to worry about fading cladding....oh well. Vibe is a great car either way!
