I know the Vibe isn't as popular, or available, here in Florida like it is Up north. But it would be really nice to get all of us together somewhere to hang. I've bumped into a few people around Orlando, and sent them to this site, and we all talk about getting together with other FLoridian Owners. It would be great to get a large group together on a Friday night and Storm the Old Town Car Show. Is anybody interested in this?

we've been hoping for more members to jump on this board. Where did you want to meet at? I live in Wesley Chapel so I'm only 45 minutes away. I think that there are 2-3 members that might be willing to attend a meet. Let me know what you got planned.

I really would like to get a whole group together and hit the Old Town Show. They have a carshow every Friday Night for the 1980 and up cars. Lots of modified cars show up. I used to take my 81 DMC 12 up there, but a couple weeks ago the PT Crusier gang got together and it made the news. I just wanna see another Vibe up close that isn't mine. I see them every now and then, but only while driving. Where ever we get together... I'll bring the DJ gear and we can make it a real event. I figure with a couple Vibes I can run the whole thing from our Interior Outlets.

Cool, dunno about the Vibes running your gear. They can't handle a vacum cleaner.

Sounds like something that I might be able to make...it just depends on when you will be having this meet. i should be in too depending on date and location, im not too far from orlando. i will have my new rims and tires next week, and my tint isnt very far behind. when i get my financial aid for school in the fall the surplus is going to buy me the jl audio vibe system, so my car will be hooked up come late august early september.but it should be lookin pretty nice by the end of june too.yogi

Well looks like it won't be until July... got in a little fender bender this morning. Good news... those chips in the hood and front fascia should get replaced by new parts. D@mn pickup trucks!

To all the Florida Vibe owners: We need to plan a meet sometime in July so we can all meet up and show off our Vibes. Does anyone have any suggestions on when we should have one? I live in Jacksonville but I am wiling to come down to you guys for a meet. The only problem I run into being in the car business is that the weekend is the busiest time for me. A sunday would be good and even a Saturday as long as I have enough notice.Keep me posted on what you alll decide as far as the time.Shadow Realm

Funds are tight right now. I'm getting married in less than 8 weeks. All of my money is going to pay for that . I can meet in late September after the honeymoon. Sorry guys.

Heck i agree the tampa/orlando area would be a good meet place. But do you think we can ever agree on a date. Also its kinda upsetting that I see so many Vibes in Miami lately but our Florida memebership doesnt increase. Lets see how many i see on my trip to Sanibel Island. Also ever since I got my Injen I havent been to run against somebody with a stock base Vibe/Matrix I have been dying to see the difference when compared to a stock.

I always seem to find retired people driving the Vibes and they aren't real interested. I contacted Old Town about bringing a group of Vibes out for the show on a Friday/ Saturday night. My apartment complex owns a large empty parking lot across the street... and they said we could meet hold a meet there. Normally on the weekends the bikers and ricers hang out there, and then cruise down Orange Avenue. So I'm going to post a preliminary date... and try to start this Olando Meet. August 2nd. Let me know if that works.

Hey guys, Names Juan. Live in Miramar and I have an Abyss Vibe GT. I had registered on genvibe awhile ago, but haven't had much time to chat lately. Anyways I'm gonna try to head up to O-town for the August 3rd meet. Would be great to meet some people and make some friends with Vibe owners. Those Matrtix owners just aren't as cool ( IE cavemancan ) But it's gonna be tough between work and i need to get new tires already. My Continental tires almost look like racing slicks! Also wanted to let yall know that there is the IREV show ( http://www.importrevolution.com) on August 9 in Fort Lauderdale that i'm going to and then on the August 16th there is a charity car meet in melbourne. You can check out the info i posted in the events section of the forum. Would be awesome to show up at the meets with other Vibes! Well anyways, i will definetely be on the forum often now for Vibe chit chat and if there's anybody down in South Fla that wants to hang, let me know!
