the four-door hatch is where its at!!!!!the fiesta sedan is not all that handsome of a car to begin with...long live the vibe.

I hope GM notices this and decides to offer the Cruze hatchback in the US.http://www.autoblog.com/2010/0...eiled/Currently, they have no plans to do so.

That's why I keep using my GM Card - on the hope that someday GM may again have a car I want to buy.

It's a Hatchagon. Or a Wagonatch. I think the word is: AWESOME.I also think the US is really opening up to the hatchback market, especially if they are used to vans/SUVs but want something smaller and sportier, yet still be able to carry stuff in it.And sporty hatchbacks like the ones Subaru and Mazda make don't hurt either!And also... trunks are lame.

Marketing types would probably prefer "Compact SUV".

Don't remember where, but I read that the higher-ups at Ford originally didn't want to sell the hatchback here because they thought no one would buy them. The article mentioned that the majority of Versas sold were hatches and that Ford ought to pay attention to that fact.
