Hey guys, so ive had my Alpine E10 subwoofers for a while now, powered by a poweracoustik 1250w bamf series amplifier, and a 1 farad capacitor. Theyre in a custom box with the recommended volume for a sealed speaker pair, in separate chambers. The wiring is all the appropriate gauge and im pleased with the volume, but not the cleanliness. What would you guys suggest after this to get the best sound, and what are the best methods of reducing vibrations/buzzing from the actual car?Im looking into dynamat type stuff but i do not know much about it.Thanks!ALSO: is there any way to prevent vibration between the hatch and the glass short of permanently joining them?

Rattles require isolation, you need to physically place something between the offending parts.. AFA sound deadening is concerned, if all you are running is a set of subs, don't bother.. Sound deadening WILL improve the sound, but it won't do a lot for the rattles.. (some will diminish, simply because you are sticking things together)Consider a large empty coffee can.. I'm sure you know the sound when you talk into one, or tap on the side.. consider that a "stock" car... Now, fill the can half way with water and repete the test... you just effectively sound deadened the coffee can..
