Well I finally bought a Vibe yesterday (on paper), we should take delivery next week some time. It's a 2006 AWD that's pretty loaded and is painted the Stealth color. It has 52k and is virtually like brand new. We're hoping to have this for years ... we'll see. More to come ...

it might be my ancient computer monitor at work, but your car looks like the Moonstone color...one thing is for sure, it's looking super clean and shiny!

I think he said it was Stealth, but I may be wrong ... it's a pretty dark silvery color. I notice the pics make it look brownish and a lighter. I'll find out for sure soon. Thanks.

Thanks. lol. now that i am home and looking at a monitor that is post 1986, i can see it a little better. the bottom shows the Stealth colors more clearly, in my opinion that is...and that engine is really clean too. congrats again!

Well we picked it up yesterday. The only problem we had was there may be a tire leak (I think) in the front driver's side tire. I'll have to keep my eye on it, to see if it's a slow leak or if the Dealer just didn't fill it up enough. Overall, I love the car ... it's Fun to drive, Pretty, Maneuverable, Good Visibility, Bright Backup Lights (which will come in handy for our long narrow driveway, Functional, etc. ... My intention is to keep the Vibe as long as possible, we'll see how long it lasts with excellent maintenance (I hope). I'll keep y'all up to date. Such fun !!!I'll post better pictures soon ... It's raining like crazy now.

I was thinking of doing a thorough service, although, should I just a Haynes manual or a Shop Manual or the info on this site? Any suggestions would be appreciated.Thanks.

Haynes/Chilton are sufficient for most people. I wouldn't worry about the shop manual unless you are planning on getting into the really really nitty-gritty stuff.

Thanks ... I think I'll go buy a Haynes or Chiltons manual to start with and if I need to go deeper I'll buy the Service Manual later.

Thanks Geoff ... I got the Haynes manual, although, I was a little bummed it didn't have the 4WD information in it. But, I was happy when I found the 4WD information on the online Service Manual on this site, though ... woohoo !!!Thanks all !!!

that Vibe is plain Gorgeous! If it runs even half as well as it looks you will have it for a long time. That thing looks like it just rolled off the assembly line with an engine bay and exterior that clean.
