Just picked up this "clunker" yesterday: Not nearly as pretty looking as this one:
http://forums.genvibe.com/zero...1.jpg, but it will do the trick. It's a Mad River Canoe Flashback, ~13' long, and made of Royalex ABS. Not meant for fishing but will be great for exploring the river near our house. It's really light and I plan on hanging it from the garage ceiling using a bike lift/pulley system. Where, in all reality, it will probably hang for 364 days out of 365.

Ha ha this is usually a true fact I had an older windsurfer that did that used it once a year for 5 years then i sold it now I have a kayak and use it probably 20 times a summer. looks like some fun. take it out and enjoy the weather.

I have a canoe that never gets used since I bought my kayak. I never tried to carry it on the Vibe, though.

Took it out on it's maiden (for me at least) voyage today down the Harpeth River near Nashville. Lost the paddle once when I got out to explore and couldn't find it for awhile and still had an hour of paddling left. Finally found it downstream. Brought along some balast: River was pretty low and had to get out quite a bit but still fun.So the pros and cons of my canoe:Pros: Light, fun, turns on a dime, it's mineCons: Tips easy, doesn't track well (of course I knew it wouldn't since it has no keel), only room for one person (and dog)

Nice toy you have there. Maybe I'll be trying to have that as a hobby
