So while rotating my tires one of my locks decided to be stubborn and wouldn't come off. stripped my key. Got another key and was extremely careful of taking it off and what do you know... the key strips AGAIN... so.... Went to a couple of shops and neither could remove it. So i have a feeling tomorrow im going to be doing some kind of work my self to remove it. I have an idea of what i want to do but was just wondering if anyone else could give me their 2 cents on any ideas they have. More than likely im going to remove all the locks and get another set. thanks for any help

i deal with this problem all the time at work...what we have is a socket the size of the lug nut, but with teeth in it. Hammer it on and then use a johnson bar and reef on it. Theres been times where 2 guys at the shop have been on the bar off the ground to bet the stupid thing off.... Stupid Dodge...Here is what the socket looks like...
http://www.matcotools.com/ProductImages/TS500.jpg It's called a Lock Nut RemoverHowever, the only downfall to this is the fact that you will break your locks and will have to get more...

Good luck, it's a lot of fun! Just remember you really gotta hammer that socket on there in order to get it to work effectivly. Let me know how it goes!

Get one of those "hand impact drivers"... the ones you put a socket on & hit the other end with a hammer. About 5 bux I think. Choose a 12 point socket almost, but not quite big enough to fit over the lug nut. Smack the impact driver with a hammer.... the more you drive it into the lug for bite, the more it turns it.
