Seeing as I am currently 4 posts away from the 1000 post mark, I was wondering if anyone else has thought it would be funny to have an optional GenVibe Goddess status for those of us female owners who reach the 1000 post mark? I just thought it would be a cute way to differentiate between the male and female owners who have reached and surpassed the 1000 post mark . Opinions?

I think it'd be fairly easy to do. I know on my other forums, I can change peoples titles.

they used to be able to change the titles here, now im not sure on these new servers, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

how about the option to choose a title once the 1000 are reached? either from a list of titles or perhaps free reign on the title.just a thought.

Personally I don't like the word "goddess"...the word's been cheapened to sounding hoochiemama-esque, unfortunately. So since I'm obsessed with flashing my V, I hereby title myself "Vibedom Ambassadress". (It is TOO a word...look it up!)

I would hope she wouldn't be updating her Garage with 80 posts...LOL.We used to be able to change them, but for some reason it doesn't seem to be working for me anymore. It acts like it's going to, then when I check it, it's still the same.

well, I didn't mean all posts in the garage, but updating or "discussing" always seemed to do the trick for me. otherwise post whoring yourself silly can be annoying for you and for others. and I say that out of personal experience (as many here who've been members for awhile may attest).

That's the thing about me is I don't post (removed) (at least not in my opinion). I mean I've been a member here for 505 days and just a couple days ago reached the 1000 mark. Heck, I've been a member of the J-Body Organization website since September of 2002 and I only have approximately 3800 posts on there.I hate when people make useless posts just to up their post count .

I have the most posts on any forum here since this is the first forum I ever joined. However, I have just shy of 10,000 posts on the legacy forums (I'm a moderator there as well) and a good 8700 on NASIOC which doesn't include the several hundreds of posts that are regularly deleted for site/server clean up.

and I didn't wanna start a new thread so I'm posting here

Can we get more options for STATUS other than god?

LIKE:
0-49 = Noob
50-199 = FWD Burnout
200-499 = Gearhead
500-999 = GenVibe Fanatic
1000-1999= GenVibe God
2000+ = GenVibe Legend


These are off the top of my head, I'm sure you guys could come up with some good ones w/ a comical twist

Good one Brandon I mentioned to our Administrator Mike a while back just after the new site was up & running. I suggested similar milestones BUT with different titles.

0-500 ........Apprentice
50-1000 ........ Journeyman
1000-2500 ....... Foreman
2500-5000 ......... Supervisor
5000-7500 ........... you get the idea ..........................

This sort of follows us skilled tradesman who are part of unionized skilled labor. IBEW electricians, UA plumbers/pipefitters, Boilermakers, Masons, etc.

The old titles went with the old zeroforum software. The new phpBB3 forum software does support post count derived member titles, but Mike hasn't implemented them yet.

I haven't really missed them. I was never fond of the "God" status, and am glad I am no longer tagged with that. I don't mind titles in general, and think they may add incentive to new members to post up and be active. Postwhoring is pretty minimal here, so that's not a big concern
