Can some please tell me how to remove the radio in my 2009 vibe. I need to replace the volume/on/off knob and I don't know how to remove it. I think I can fix it if I can get to it.The car has 39000 miles and I believe it is out of warranty. Thanks

grab either side of the silver trim ring around it & the HVAC controls, and pull it towards you. Disconnect the Hazard Button & the passenger airbag/seatbelt light. the radio is held in place with 4 10mm bolts

I realize that this is quite an old thread, but, have exactly the same issue, and thought it was worth a shot.
Just curious if you were ever able to replace the control knob?
It appears that the bezel protecting the volume control knob base is actually molded into the unit. I can find no way to remove it, short of breaking it off. I haven't been able to locate a seam that I can access to remove it.
Thanks
