Recall Floor mat differences

I'm looking at the recall for my floor mats.Can anyone with the all weather floor mats tell me what the difference is between the original and the new ones they're swapping in for the recall?Right now my mats are secure, there is no way they'll stick down the accelerator, so before I agree to them swapping them out I want to know if the new ones are smaller for example or whether they are a genuine improvement.I'm still on the fence about them taking a hacksaw to my floor and pedal.

The biggest point of the recall is to saw off part of your gas pedal to make it shorter. I don't know about the mats. Maybe the new ones have smaller grooves.
