so, there's definitly some kind of factory subwoofer in the car, I can hear it. It sounds liek junk, but it's there. Where can I find it? It seems almost like it's coming from the back right of the car. I want to know where it is so I can rip it's still beating (pun) life out of the car and replace it with my own. It seems like it's behind something, because it rattles a lot. I don't want to take a lot of the car apart to find it, if there is just one panel covering it or something. On another note, I found treasure in my car, I opened the little flap piece of plastic inbetween the back of the seats and the tire cover, and found weapons. There was a 9" Buck Knife, 10" curved Smith and Wesson hand axe and buoy knife (in a combined pouch) and a hand-carved knife that looks to be made of an old piece of silverware. There were also gloves and a withdrawl slip receipt for $800. This was obviously a contract killer's car.

if yours came with the sub, open your rear hatch and look to the right it's right there. Some of the earlier years didn't come with the sub standard, just amplified speakers

Nope, no grill or anything, it's weird, it sounds like there is a crappy sub womewhere in this car. Maybe the speakers in the back doors are just real bad... I'm going crazy.

If you had the sub the back of the car would have this. But like previously mentioned the early m&t package didn't have a sub, but i thought it was only the 03's But it is possible that the previous owner removed it to make more room for the body parts

I beleive the M&T subs were offered in 2005. I have a 2003 M&T....6 speakers, amp but no sub. Maybe you blew your door speakers? I recently replaced my front doors & the surrouds were practicaly dust. They were pretty much just buzzing until I replaced them.

Yup, the surrounds are sperated from the cone. It's awesome how cheap these things are. The ones in my honda stood up way better. I didn't really want to have to replace any stock parts, but once again, I find myself being thrown into a project, ugh...
