They do look good. You probably could have gone another 59K on them.

You might be right Blue Crush. But I guess I take some consolation in that it will be the last time I replace the plugs in this vehicle.

...unless you're running trashy gasoline, iridium-tip plugs should last 100K-miles no problem.

I'm not sure how the 2.4 Liter treats spark plugs, but if they are irridium. I'm gonna run them to 100k as well.

They do look pretty good still. Any difference in how the car idles / drives?

I have 95,000 on mine and will change at 100,000. I think the book said to run them 120,000 before they need changed.

Inexpensive preventative maintenance is a good practice. Nothing wrong with changing a set of plugs out for piece of mind on a 60k motor. Sure, you got some life left in em but the swap will give you years of not having to worry about them.i think i am getting close to changing mine. I bought this one used as a 2003 and the original plugs are still in it. It's such an easy and cheap job i don't see any trouble in doing them early since there are only 4 of them and they are easy to get to. It's only bad when i have to buy 16 for my other ride....
