Anyone run these Polks with the factory Moon & Tunes amp? The Polks are rated 10 - 100 watts RMS & have a 92dB sensitivity rating. The Moon & Tunes amp is PROBABLY around 10-11 watts RMS.Will the factory M & T will be enough to power these speakers? Looks like from the numbers it will barely make it LOL.

I thought the M&T amp under the passenger's seat only powered the Subwoofer in the rear...? I'm probably wrong though since I'm not an audio guru.

The 2003 didnt offer a sub. I beleive it was 2005 when they started. I have the 200W ( peak ) factory amp that powers 6 speakers.....2 tweets & 4 door speakers.

FWIW: The factory speakers are 2-ohms, and that's what the "200-watt Amp" rating is based on. Probably more like 100-watt output to 4-ohm, and 50-watt output to 8 ohm speakers. Maybe less.

Wow...I didnt even think about that. Would that 50 watts be RMS?

The M&T amp is under the passenger seat. It is 6 channels. Two power the subwoofer in the back (dual voice coils), 1 channel each for the 2 rear doors, and 1 channel each for the front doors. the tweeters in the sail panels run of the front door, with a capacitor crossover to keep too much bass out of them.
