This is my 2005 Pontiac Vibe base, i had this car for 13 months already i bought it from Ipac Mazda in San Antonio, i bought the car with 67k miles & has now 107k, when i got the vibe from ipac i saw genvibe decal on the roof rails so im pretty sure the pervious owner was a genvibe member i finally made account after 13 months, i plan on modding my daily driver, just to fix it up nice, no major performance mods. Thank you all, I am very happy with my car, The white is what I really wanted, but on the gray bottom part I'm thinkin of painting that gloss black to go with a set of 18s black w/chrome lip, I'm still dabating, a friend of mines has a midnight blue 05 vibe & 19s chrome blue, 6k hids, he painted his bottom gray parts metallic gray, looks real good with his set up.

Nice Vibe there.The 2 tones Vibe are pretty rare up here in Quebec. Since the refresh of the Vibe in 2005, Pontiac only sold monotone Vibe's in Canada.We do see some salvaged or imported 05-08 two-tone Vibes from time to time though.

Well here's the history of my car it's orginal color black formula, but pervious owner put exterior to trans am " 02 t/a bumpers, side skirts, & hatch", & painted it pewter so wen I bought it in 08 year n a half later got rear ended, so that guy who hit me his insurence payin for my car damages $3000, & now I put it back factor exterior formula, it was bone stock, I bought ws6 hood, zr1 wheels 17x9 & 11s rear, & bought all the mods on my sig it was orginally 2000 but I kept 1k to buy hood & wheels

no, no ones really had that done yet, i do have that planned in the near future. but nice lookin ride and the plan sounds very cool. Hmmm a GV.com decal already on it.... must do some detective work to find whos it was. are you goin to Drag race it or Auto Cross it?

no not yet, though i did get some VHT Nighyshade tint spray and some flat/matte black paint for a future mod, also just added a new head unit and have some shift boots on the way. i also need to get some grafixwerks overlays for the new ride.

not quite yet, jus waiting on a switch so i can get that done. gimme a minute or two cause there are a couple tutorials that show how to do that mod.

hi Ls1jorge! welcome to the community.i have a question for ya: how loud is your magnaflow? i want to get an exhaust system thrown on my ride but i am looking to keep the volume to a minimum. i love the magnaflow products; i have had nothing but good luck and good results with them.

Mod UPDATE- 18 inch TSW wheels, New 2011 Pioneer indash touch screen, smoked tails, & Got the 5 rear windows tinted with 2 layers of 5% tint, when looking inside the car you cant see nothing at all. , yes its a hard to see at night but well worth it, no more 4x4 trucks with bright lights blinding me after year & half with the car im very happy with it, Black Pontiac Decal embelm, im still saving up to paint the gray cladding white, and lowering will be my last mod For those who wondering whats the decal says in the rear bottom left window "My Real Rides Is A Ls1 (FIREBIRD) not to bash the vibe but to show others my other ride

how much did that indash touch screen cost you? ive always wanted something like that but never knew what worked.and you should look into removing the haze from the headlight housings, they sell kits to do it

rAERRK- I got it at a local audio store in my area, $460 with install & kit, its very nice, I could change the lighting up to 8 colors, I always have it on red to match my dash.NascarXprt- I got it done at Potee Flea Market near toyota plant in south of San Antonio all for $110 great window tint film very dark! Well today my car almost got broken into, they tried to POP out the driverside key cylinder, must have happen last night late at my moms, or in the north part of the city I live in, I reported to cops & couldnt find any Prints, my car, dash, & rims are ok, they Jus messed up the key cylinder, ill post pics 2mrrw during daylight & getting a pager remote alarm installed 2mrrw after work

that aint tooo bad, my first vibe i got tinted at Mothers off 281 and that lasted 4 years and is still on the car to this day from what i know, and ive heard some folks here going to inxs off 1604 and nw millitary hwy. yea the darker the better IMO.glad nothin was stolen, what part of town are you in buddy? im 1604/281 northside.

Yea the last time I saw ur old car it had good tint, was kinda dirty, but we both drove side by side for awhile I was thinking it was you. Thanks man, when I notice the key cylinder messed up when coming out of laser quest by Embassy oaks rd, made a police report & request Laser quest to view me there camaras but they didn't have any, well i just gave away 4 Benjamin dollar bills & got the Remote Start alarm with Pager I'll upload it soon as I get my camara back, the main screen protector crack on me & i sent it back to best buy to fix it.

Heres a photo of my car, i just had the entire car repainted for $600 got a good price!, i wanted to do the gray cladding but it slowly grew on me & i like it, i also painted inside the Headlight Housing Black JDM Look, its not perfect but it looks good, i need to clean the clear lense, has the foggy look.

Thanks fellas, I havent had done much to the vibe since I got it repainted 2months ago, just been doing Family road trips over the summer, & I already rolled over to 145k miles. Nascar- I have a buddy of mines who does paint & bodywork at his father shop it's in the south of (Riscvibe-) San Antonio, if you need any work done to your car Let me know I can get good quality stuff for a decent price & not to expensive.

Finally washed my car. We had lots of rain & cold weather this month. & had to buy new hids since my old set blew out. 6k HD. Stock fogs.

Nascar- yea the ebay headlights are pretty good makes the car look awhole lot newer then the old hazzy ones i had, only thing i had to do is realign the lights.

I finally went ahead & painted the gray cladding on my car, Ive never like the 2 tone color, & bodyshops were charging 250-300 dollars to have it painted white. I did a few searches on google & most jeep owners painted their gray faded cladding black or same color as their cars with "Krylon Fusion" spray paint, its a very good spray can & bonds to plastic, no prep or sanding needed, only thing you need to do is wash, dry clean the cladding, & get lots of Newspaper & 1 roll of Painters Masking Tape, its very easy to do & looks great. I finished it within 4 1/2hours, i wasnt in a hurry so I took my time to tape the edges up.

Seening before & after pics of the car makes me feel more confident about it, I was going trade it in back in febuary but im almost done paying off the car. Soon as i get the car cleaned up today ill post a few more better pics.

Krylon fusion is great paint for plastic. Good choice and great job researching. I know this first hand as on my old eclipse, I would only use Krylon Fusion to paint my plastic interior parts.

Its been awhile since I posted on here, havent done much to the vibe other then just daily drive it & keep it clean, I just recently done a few appearances, I was already bored with the front end since I swap out the 2005 headlights for the 2003 model "black housing" & decided to plasti dip the front lower bumper bottom section & honeycomb grille. Front bumper is starting to grow on me slowly, I like it & its different, I also removed the front plate after having the car for 4 yrs, I like how the frontend looks alot cleaner. Im also considering doing the black roof & remove roof racks. Any ideas or thoughts on the front bumper?

Looks good bud! too bad i cant say the same for mine... it was totaled back on the 8th of August.... but keep an eye out cause i will be posting my replacement soon
