Hi!New here. I did a bit of searching but couldn't locate the appropriate place to put a VIN check request. I am considering an '06 Vibe with at least a couple prior owners. So no paperwork and AutoCheck and Carfax show nothing.Other forums have folks with dealer connections that can run a VIN history so you can see what warranty work and maintenance is in the GM system. The VIN is 5Y2SL67806Z423308. I've already decoded it - I'm looking for service history. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance!

Hi Michael:I'm not sure what you mean by "looks good".Are you able to run a history? If so, can you please post it?Dave

Welcome to genvibe! Silly question, but have you called a local dealer yourself and asked them for the history?

The vibe you found has several previous owners, but no AutoCheck or Carfax history? I've never seen this for a 2006 car. At least the Registration and renew information should show up in the history. I input the VIN to AutoCheck, and it showed the number is invalid.

vin is valid. For liability reasons and privacy issues people with access to GM service systems are not allowed to print and distribute warranty info, but as suggested before just go to a gm dealer service dept and they may verbally answer some of your questions.
