Looks like they used a picture of an '03. Notice the rocker panels?Of course that's what I expect from GM... not quite on top of all the details. Or Good? Maybe (GM).KSNeptune
all i see on pgs 15-16 about the sport pkg is an emissions sticker and the inside of a car with something hanging off of the rearview mirror, lol.......how did you get a catalog on the 04's, i asked my dealer and he said he wouldnt be getting them till sept....i didnt know the transfer case was intergrated into the tranny...bet thats a pricey piece of hardware.....good job on the pictures...look good.
sorry i was in a hurry , but i fixed pages 15 16 17just came out the ups truck ,and opened the boxfor everyone here, the tranny is similar to the versatrak design,
Great job with the new brochure. I was at the Pontiac dealer yesterday. They had a new Fusion '04 Vibe. It looked great. I don't think it would look good without monotone. I assume that is why they only offer it in monotone.
any ideas how much the supercharger will cost?any exact hp gains or is it going to beabout 45 hp ... that is 35% of 130so that boosts the total HP of a base vibe to 175 hpthink it would beat a GT...?
A couple of minor points re the '04 brochure: 1. It shows the 17" wheels as available on the base Vibe. I'm 99% sure this was not true in Canada at least, for '03.2. It shows body coloured door handles on the two tone Frosty. My Frosty came with black. (I know, I know, the squint-print somewhere says "subject to change without notice..."
Hey dude, thanks so much for the scans, they're great!Question: seems you work at a dealer...any chance you could look into finding out if 03 owners can upgrade to the 04 gauges, and if so, what it would cost? Thanks again!
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
I just took a drive over to the local Pontiac dealership (not the one I bought my Vibe from) looking to get a copy of the 2004 Vibe brochure. I walked in and asked for one and they looked at me like I had 3 heads."Ah,...no...we don't have any."Really, because you have 2 2004 Vibes sitting right out there in front of the showroom (they were 2-tones and had the extended rocker panel). One the way back out I stopped to look at them. I didn't get to sit in them but I could tell the visors were now cloth with a extra elastic strap on the front. I wanted to pull one down to see if it had the extenders but the car was locked. I guess I need to go back to the dealership where I bought my Vibe and take a look at the '04 Vibes inside and out. Maybe I can get a brochure there.

There is no way GM (or any other company) is going to create a product that gives you more for less. If they did, why would anyone in their right mind but the GT? When the SC is released, you will be able to finance it with a new car purchase. According to the '04 catalog, the SC should deliver slightly more HP than the GT engine (not to mention Torque). Thus the cost of the SC + Base should be higher than a GT.Based on the '03 numbers, the price difference between the two models is about $2000. So an educated guess would put the SC price about $2500 + install. Now I don't have any way to back up that price, it could be lower or higher depending on how many units GM wants to sell and how quicly they leave the shelves. However, the '04 GT took slight hit of 7 HP. There are many possible reasons for this. One of which is to justify paying more for the SC+Base than the GT. If the GT were more powerful, the same principal would apply. No one would buy the SC if it was more expensive and the GT was a better perfomer. This may be the cause for the delay. If GM was forced to set a price for the SC based on R&D costs that put the SC more expensive than the GT, but with less perfomance, nobody would by them.Just my thoughts.

The salesman asked if I was "Interested in one (a Vibe)?", and I told him" That I had one (an '03)"! So then he proceed to tell me about the dash color change and the supercharger option, coming for the base model this month, (and no he didn't have a price) But overall the trip was worth it, and gettin' a new catalog! They didn't have a fusion orange Vibe, but they did have a Grand Am in the orange!
‘03 Vibe with 317k and still going.............................
Just because the brochure claims "the GM Performance Parts Supercharger is available through your Pontiac Dealer. All you have to do is ask.", don't expect it to be true. I called my Pontiac Parts Dept. today and they said it still wasn't available. And the price is still not available/known.I'll blame GM's poor management for the delay. The parts guy did too, He remembered that it took more than a year after the supercharger for the sunfire was said to be available for it to actually show up.KSNeptune

ALso the color page shows all the two-tone cars with body colored door handles. Just the way the templetes were painted or photoshoped.

The Vibe and Matrix will be the same supercharger sold under their respective names. I'm pretty sure Toyota is deveolping it. It's better to wait and have it tested by Toyota rather than have it be quickly released and tested by the public.

I think Pontiac should offer the upgrade for free to those who wear sunglasses and think it's a safety issue being able (or not) to see the guages. Maybe in some alternate universe.
Excellent shots - thanks for the info! And though it might be nitpicking -- I want to know where they were when they took these promo shots! Check out the dash on page 11 -- outside temp reads 34c!

Personally...i'd love to see the newer guages in my '03. I don't really mind the red anymore, but the white/red on the '04 just looks too sweet..
