Lets say Carlos Slim Helu (worlds richest man) came up to you and offered to buy 5 cars, insure them, pay for gas, and maintain/fix them... What cars would you chose?1) Bugatti Veyron SS (Fastest car in the world, why not?)2) Toyota Supra (Dumb, I know, but I don't really respect people who own expensive cars but don't know the single thing about them. I respect a person who can work on a car with his own hands and make it fast as fck)3) Ferrari 458 Italia (The car is just (removed) on wheels)4) Lamborghini Gallardo Customized by Underground Racing: Stage 3 Turbo System with Highly Modified Engine 1500 WHP on race fuel (Do I have to say more?)5) Bentley Flying Spur Speed (Classy and Fast)

Excellent thread idea!I'd go with:-2011 Porsche 911 Turbo S, 6spd manual, in Fountain Blue. (What I would buy if I actually had the $ for one car). EDIT: oops, i think it only comes with 7spd PDK.-2005 Porsche Carrera GT (in Silver)-2005 Ford GT (I would argue it's the best American production car ever made). I would have ordered the dark blue with no stripes - not sure if anyone actually ordered one like that.-The new Benz SLS AMG-Aston Martin Rapide (gotta have at least one 4 seater, right?)

I almost picked the GTO and went back and forth looking at photos of it and the Catalina before I made my decision.

For me the way to decide such a question is to ask myself what car would make me smile every time I looked at it? A rather pedestrian '66 Catalina would, much more so than a Bentley Azure.

These are just off the top of my head. If I had time to think about it im sure I could come up with a different list. The only ones I wouldnt change would be the Miura & Trans Am.*Lamborghini Miura*Ford GT40.....the original that won Lemans *1970 - 73 Pontiac Trans Am*DeTomaso Pantera - The sound of a Mid engine Ford 351 & open pipes is just awesome. I heard how its sounds ONCE...thats all you need LOL*1969 Datsun 240Z - Perfectly executed car.Im not one for super exotics cause they arent great daily drivers, but I have a GT40 on my list...go figure.....Oh wait......Acura NSX !!!!! That car does NOT lose its looks over time. Wow!

Wow I really dig that Stratos and Lister Corvette. Now my turn!Ok I'll start a 2009 dodge viper SRT-10. I see this one already listed but heres a pic for good measure. Its an AC Cobra. 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T. 1995 300zx twin turbo. and..... this last one is just for laughs. Its the 1999 toyota GT-one road legal version. They had to make a road legal version of the race car they built because those were requirements to race in Le Mans. There were only 2 made, one is in a museum in Japan according to wikapedia

It is awesome to see in person.I had a hard time deciding between it and a Cobra, and in the end went with the more exclusive ride.

I remember I built a 1/24th scale Lancia back when I was a kid. Cool car!
