picked up shoes and new drums and changed the rears out today. easy job only took 2 hours. i changed the fronts out a few months ago so i should be good for a while.nothing like working on your own vehicle. knowing its done right.
since you have replaced the hardward... did you bleed the entire system so that you have brand new brake fluid? You know over time condensation builds up in the system and the constant heat and cool of the fluid reduces the effectiveness. So you should do that as well.

yea i did. would have been nice to have one of those do it yourself bleeder kits. but i had my son help me. Kent-Moore j-1859-a steering wheel removal tool is a must, sure beats the alt to remove the drum. lol
