I have an `05 Vibe with the crappy steelies and the crappy caps. I bought a set of Konig 5x100 wheels that don't fit. I measured the bolt pattern and I have 5x95. Do I have a ******* car or is this common because I have not heard anything about this bolt pattern. Thanks

The Vibe is 5x100. Are you sure the wheels you got are also 5x100? If so there is no reason they should not fit. If they do not fit, then there is an issue with the wheels. I have had many different sets of wheels and the Vibe IS 5x100. I can guarantee you that.

The one I have is not 5x100. The wheels say 5x100 on the back and I measured them as well. They are 5x100. The bolt pattern is 5x95 measured as well. Weird I know.

If the pattern is too big (on the wheel) then they probably gave you 5x114.3 (4.5") instead of 5x100 (3.93") by mistake.

Bolt pattern is 5 x 100. Like the others said, if the wheels don't fit, you didn't get 5 x 100 or maybe the previous owner made some weird changes.

Ok, what is the proper way to measure bolt patterns. I am checking from center of stud to center, maybe that is wrong. These wheels maybe standard size wheels even though they are stamped metric.

Well that clears up some things. Now to find out (removed) these fit so I can get rid of them. Thanks

You're welcome. And if what I suspect happened happened and you have 5x114.3's, one car they might fit is Mazda... assuming the offset is correct. Mazdas have a very deep negative offset.

I have never even heard of a 5x95 bolt pattern.

is it for sure the bolts that are not lining up, or is it possibly the center bore is too small on the new rims?

Bolt Circle Measurement (5x)

Another option for finding bolt circle for a five lug wheel: Measure the distance from bolt center to adjacent bolt center and divide by sine(36). That's pretty close to multiplying by 1.7.
