The sticker is defective but they will be happy to sell you another defective sticker as a replacement for $4? Maybe they should change the name to something other than "sticker".

that's funny.. you can't really see it well in this photo, but I bought my VW in Pennsylvania in April and haven't yet had it re-inspected. Both of the inspection stickers are about halfway peeled off at this point.

Mine are half pealed off as well. Funny part is the state police can issue you a ticket if they can't read the sticker.

just got my new ones last week after new inspection and emissions, so far they are holding even though it looks like they didnt even clean off all the residue of the old ones
