Rear liftgate lock cylinder removal?. Anyone know how?

Need to change mine out cause its broke. Anyone ever messed with that one before?. Changing it out and putting in a new one?
This pdf covers it somewhat/ haven't tried it myself, but I'm guessing you might be able to skip steps 5 and 6
