Hello I am new to owning a vibe this is my first on. I have own 1 other Pontiac. But I am use to muscle cars. It my husband fault that I am into cars now. I have no mods on my car other than the widows being tinted which was that way when I bought my car. I am planning on doing mods and that is why I am here is to learn what I can and can't do because Like I said the Vibe is a new thing to me. I am wanting to put a turbo kit on my car and I have found the body kit and the rims that I want to put on my car. I will share those when I figure out how your forums works a little better. I am apart of a all girl car club called octanegirls.net. Men are welcomed but the gereral idea is that girls are very much apart of the car world as guys are.

Welcome Meagan! Great artwork! Were you affected by the recent floods in Tennessee? If you're up for a Vibe road trip this summer, come join us in Fishers, Indiana (northeast side of Indianapolis) for the Colossal Amazing GenVibe Summer Meet on Saturday, July 17th!Link to the Meet thread -->
http://forums.genvibe.com/zero...ge=11If you need help finding information, just ask us. We're a friendly, helpful group, especially compared with a lot of other car forums I've visited. Many of our long-time members have stayed active in the forums even though they no longer own Vibes. If you only want to post ONE photo in a posting, you can shortcut the process without using another photo hosting website. That way the link won't ever go away.1) Attach the photo using the File Attachment to select a file.2) Save your post3) Edit your post using the EDIT button at the top of your message4) Copy the photo link that now appears underlined below the text window.5) Press the 'photo' icon, and paste your link or manually add "" html tags before and after the link.

Yes and now on the flooding question. I live near Clarksville tn. And we didn't flood until after the rain. When all this was going on my daughter was two hrs away from me in Cookeville Tn with my mom. And I need to get to her but could not because of the flooding. I will see what my husband and I have planned over the summer. I would like to try and make up there.

I did get pulled over in Memphis Tn by a state trooper like a week after I bought my car. And he said the tint was to dark he said it was 7% . But from what I was told it is not illegal if it was done buy the dealership. My friend who works with the local sherriff's department said is he could see me and see through the passenger it was fine. So I don't know.

I am not sure what the law in TN is but here in IL we can't have more than 35% Tint on the front windows and only 50% if its factory on the rear.Just letting you know that the tint was NOT done by the dealership. By law dealerships are NOT allowed to tint the front windows.

thanks for the info. I am not worried about changing it. It keeps the car nice and cool. But I didn't tint any of the windows. Like I said they came that way when I bought the car.

You're looking at a 4-5 hour drive roughly speaking. Give it some serious thought
