I know all about it... I'm there most mornings @ 6:30 but too bad that this sale isn't on at that hour... Staff know me by name and by the time I've paid for the drink it's already made... (I guess I could have worse habits)Venti Java Chip 6m-6c w/shot!!! Better breakfast the McDonalds! (well maybe...)

Yeah, mine used to be caramel lite frap, no whip, no drizzle. My 12-hour days sometimes I'd have to have 3 Venti a day. Now that was an expensive habit. I don't want to think about how much money I saved by quitting cold turkey months before the passenger came on board.

Went in today at 4:30, it was PACKED in there! I'm guessing it was because the recommeded frapp of the day was my version of the Java chip!!! Even better since it's half price!And it's double habit day today.... gotta go and watch the fights, UFC 113 - we'll see if Rua can survive!!!

Gotta admit.... I just don't get the whole Starbucks thing. Never been there, so I'm speaking from ignorance. I make coffe every night for the next morning.... pretty much whatever is on sale at the grocery store. Black. Dark black. Very dark black. Why put all that in to make it taste like something other than coffee? Maybe drink something other than coffee? Is it a social thing.... gotta be seen going into work with THE cup in hand? I get seen going into work.... they're happy with that. License plate on my Harley.... DIYPSCM

Tried one today, and IMO, the Soy Strawberries and Creme Frap is not something I would do again...not sure if it's because I've been weaned off of $tar buck$ for so long now, or that it has no caffeine in it, or both, but at least it had whip in it (shaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame on me) to add a LITTLE bit of taste...took me forever to force myself to finish it (smacks self in head for getting a Venti) It reminded me of the "Diet Pudding" I had at the hospital cafeteria last week...BLEAH...all that had going for it was a tiny spot of whip and a maraschino cherry.

Most of the time I can't bring myself to pay the high prices for Starbucks...$4 for a coffee drink is too much for me. I have a Keurig now and I *love* it...I can make any kind of flavored coffee I want, or a cafe mocha or a chai latte or hot tea, any time. K-cups are roughly 50 cents a cup or you can buy a filter assembly to use your own coffee. Much cheaper than buying even from most gas stations.
