My '04 Vibe GT has 89428 miles on it now. The upgrades I went for are: Eibach Pro-Kit Spring, KYB Excel-G Shock, EBC GD3 Rotors with Wagner ceramic pads. I have about 200 miles on the setup. Handling wise even my 11 year old son can tell the difference corning. As far as the brakes, they are definitely better but nothing spectacular. All in all I am very happy with the way things turned out. Total investment was $1086.00 and about 6-7 hours of my time. Plus one smashed finger.

Everyday!! I smashed this one bad enough I split the finger nail across at the base. It was not fun finishing up the rear with it.

Yes I do. I basically did these because the car has 90,000 miles on it and I thought it needed some attention. I want to do a full brake kit, Tein coilover conversion and a stroker block from Monkey Wrench Racing.

Hey pretty cool! So did you rent some spring compressors to do the spring install on your GT? I'm very interested in doing some lowering springs myself on my base 09. I'm just torn as whether I should just take it to a shop or attempt the install myself. I dunno it seems pretty straightforward on TV car shows.... uhhh when done by professionals. are you looking to do mooorre!!!? here's my suggestions without being asked for them. aftermarket rear sway bar, strut brace.

Yes I am thinking about both those parts in the near future. As far as the spring compressor, i rents it from O'riellys Auto parts. It was $48.99 and I got a full refund when I returned it 2 days later.
