I need to order some black plastic screws ( I think that is what they are called) for my front bumper. That keeps it aligned right. It's in front of my wheel where all the black stuff is. I will attach a picture. I also need a big black brace to keep my fender level. I don't really know the names of what I need so hopefully somebody can help me. Thanks

Are the Original OEM mountings cracked or did you pull the panel off yourself?

The original OEM mountings are cracked. The black piece that holds the front bumper in place.

I would try to see if you can unmount the bumper and re-glue the mounts using JBWeld or some other strong epoxy. Or just epoxy the panel to the plastic. It may hinder removing it in the future but it will hold it.

If it's still under the warranty, take it in and make the dealer replace it under the warranty for you.

I think i might be having a problem there as well, the bumper area right where you have yours separated seems to pucker... what happened to yours that's it's coming apart? wonder if the clips are breaking or were not installed.

I smell a possible recall/class action suit coming.

Hmmm... I'll have to keep a close eye on our GTs, but so far nothing like this is happening to ours (thank goodness). You sure have had bad luck VforVIBE. That sucks .

I'm wondering if gentle parking lot bumps could cause this. Someone carlessly pulling in or backing up too far and giving a nice "nudge"... (I hate parking lots)

Sorry for the delay. Thanks guys for your input. I really didn't expect this thread to get much replies. Actually what I think happened was I was parked at a huge parking lot (EXAMPLE: WAL-MART, GROCERY STORE) and I believe somebody backed up and hit my car. Of course you can't swap insurance info when your not around or you don't know who did it. What I might do is just replace the whole front bumper. I am going to make "them" meaning warranty/dealership pay for it. B/c they are supposed to. It's not really noticeable if you can believe that but I know it's there and it's a new car, nothing is suppose to be wrong with it. Right? And yes "vforVIBE" my driver side is puckering as well. It has been like that since I bought it. I don't know. I think something's fishy with our gt bumpers.

Oh yah and I am missing another center cap too. This makes the second time I will have to replace them. According to my dealership, "they are not covered under warranty". So I have a feeling I might have to pay for a bumper too.

As far as the center caps go, I know just about everyone on here with an '09-'10 doesn't like the idea of siliconing them, but my mom and I haven't had a single issue with our center caps because they were all siliconed on by the dealer before we took them home. Yes, they will have to be removed every time a wheel/tire needs to be balanced or if you get a flat and need a new tire, etc. but it's silicone, it comes off very easily and goes on again just as easily. I honestly wouldn't trust the supposed "newly designed" center caps. I am perfectly happy with my siliconed ones and I will continue to silicone them as needed. FYI a new center cap with the "redesigned" part number is $9.xx a piece . Best of luck to you.
