So while driving home from looking at another Vibe I was driving and noticed that the sound was a little off. Upon turning up the volume I heard tons of distortion coming from the lower speakers (6.5" Infinity Reference) and the upper tweeters (Stock Monsoon). SO I turned off the radio and checked all the connections and turned it back on. I tried moving the wires while it was on and no change.I have two theories. 1. My headunit amp (JVC KD-S100) is going out2. My Moon and Tunes Amp is going outSo I ordered this: http://www.sonicelectronix.com....htmlI am going to bypass the stock amp before I try replacing my headunit as it was only $30 for the cable where as a new headunit that doesn't suck will be $200+. I will be using this wiring diagram that I found through Crutchfield.http://crutchfield.custhelp.co...iew=1Wish me luck! The wiring harness should be at my house in 3-5 days.

Just a quick heads up, the rear speaker wires on the Metra connector used to be labeled wrong. Be sure to check your pin out to hook up the correct wires.Aron

Would you be able to give me a hand? I have a full garage by me. Also do you either have some crossovers or know where I could get some decent ones for about $50/set?

Unsure if I would be able to give you a hand or not, I have plans for the next 5 weekends. I can tell you that the harness is super easy to hook up though.I don't have any crossovers, I will keep an eye open though.Aron

I was thinking I could cut the wires going to the tweeters on my Infinity reference 2ways and then wiring my Monsoon tweeters to the crossovers on the 2ways. If they are the same Ohms that would work properly correct?

OK so the harness arrived. I re-pinned it. Wired all the wires to the correct outputs and inputs. No dice.ZERO sound. So I ripped out ALL the speakers and tested them outside the car. ALL work 100%.Tested the head unit. 100% OK!Checked ALL wires for proper connection and made sure they weren't grounding out. OK!So I try hooking it all up with the harness and still no go.I'm pissed at this point. I put it all back in and hook it back up. I start the car and get ready to take it to a car audio shop and IT WORKS!(removed)? I am stumped. I wiggled all the wires and cable and it all stayed connected. I have NO idea what was/is wrong. On the plus side my Sirius Headunit addon is still active 4 months after canceling it
