Abnormal Brake Ware

This is the second time I've had to replace the rear pad in 43,000 miles. The outboard pads are down to maybe 5% the inboard pads look like they should after 20,000. The first time I got them to warrentee it at 23,000, but now... The service rep is telling me that the calipers are not hanging up and that the tech can move them by hand and, he said, that it's not the first time he's heard of this on the previous gen models.It's an '06 GT. Any body heard of this kind of thing? Maybe the parking brake is not letting loos all the way?
