Adding a RAI and needing a tune?

If i were to buy a cosmo racing RAI, would it be in my best interest to get the new air levels checked with a basic fuel tune? How would i go about doing this? (Im new to performance mods) and i have an 05 base if that matters.

You don’t need a tune. You will have benefits just from less restriction in the intake. You can if you want to. Do you have an aftermarket ECU?

No, like i said im just getting started with performance stuff. Im working my way through the poor mans mod thread, but i was talking to my friend with a 350z about ram air and he said id need a tune.

no tune needed. But if you want MORE power you'd need a tune. A tune will be able to get more power out of the intake and other parts, but it not necessary .
