I have some questions regarding speaker replacement in a 2003 Vibe with the M&T (minus factory subwoofer) setup.1) What is the speaker size in the front and rear doors?2) I'm planning to use a component speaker setup for the front doors - how easy is it to "drop in" a component tweeter in place of the factory tweeter?**I plan to install an Alpine HU and ditch the factory amp - just too many complications with regards to the factory M&T setup when introducing aftermarket sound components...and that crazy 2 ohm speaker setup zeesh, don't get me started! Thanks for any help

1:The front and the rears come with 6.5" speakers, I cant remember how much clearance there is for the speaker to mount (I think 2" or somewhere around there). You will have to fashion a bracket to mount the speaker to gain any needed clearance you will need. Some people tear apart the factory speaker and use the baffle from the stock speaker to mount the new one.2:you should have no problem getting a 1" tweeter to fit in the stock sail panel location. You will probably have to open the hole a little and mount the tweeter from the rear. I would use hot glue to secure the tweeter in that location. if you have a small enough tweeter you can open the factory hole and drop the tweeter in conventionally. to do this you would have to remove the factory grill on the sail panel, and yes the grill will fit back on when done. if I recall there is at least an inchish behind the sail panel with the factory tweeter and hardware removed.AronP.S. Don't forget the pics
