Anyone with a Ram Air hood and SRI?

I have the RK Sport Ram Air hood and want to get an SRI. My concern is avoiding hydro-locking based on the lack of any water filtration system in the hood. It rains quite a bit in the Pacific NW and not sure if this hood will keep water from getting in the filter. What would I need to do to safely run an SRI?Anyone ever used one of these:

I had bought one for my trd cai but didnt buy the right size. Yes that would work as the hood if water did get to the filter would only get it wet/damp not submerge it. if you are worried then sure get it. just need to make sure its the right size.

Still a bit concerned that a lot of water is getting into the engine bay though. Sorry, just don't want to go there if it will be more trouble than it's worth. No one else here that had this same hood...Kevera, vibegtcouple?

what does the inside of the hood look like? is it just a 'skin?' the slp hood had channels under the hood to move the water from the short ram...

Other than the channel the air flows through the only other holes are for the sprayer lines. Thoughts?

Build a box lower then the filter with a few small holes in the bottom for the water to drain out like the stock air box has.
