Rattle in 09 Vibe

I've been having a really annoying rattling noise in my 09 for about 6 months. It seemed to be coming from somewhere near my left ear when I'm driving and it seemed like a metal rattle somewhere in the top of the door. It wasn't very loud but after 20 minutes boy did it get annoying.Well it took the dealer almost 2 hours and 3 test drive with the door halfway disassembled but damn it they found it. It was a small connector that was moving under the driver seat. I was running late so they haven't fixed it yet but I'm due back there in 2 weeks to get that taken care of. They told me it would be a 1 hour job since they need to disassembled the unit under the seat. 6 months I've been searching for the source of that damn rattling and turns out it was actually under the seat. It's a really stupid thing, if I slip my fingers under the unit located under the seat I can touch the connector and recreate the noise if I move the connector. Now if I could find the source of the other 2 rattles coming from the trunk....

Those tie-down straps make clanking noises when I hit a bump.Even the tire-iron makes noise if the bump is big enough. My cargo organizer makes noise if I have it in the raised position.

I also had a rattle that I still believe is in upper part of my driver door....next to my shoulder. I would hear it during the past two winters. But lately I don't hear it anymore. It seems to come and go based on the temperature. I thought is was the door latch cable tapping against the door frame.I will check under my seat to see anything that could rattle. Thanks, Sorry that you and the dealer went through a lot of trouble tracking it down. By the way, the rattle back at the trunk... could it be the heat shield under the car ( above the muffler) ? When I close the hatch or the driver door, it would rattle.
