Found these shots of "GTC Africa", for the PS2, while looking about. To my surprise, I saw the vibe in it!

Cool! Wonder if there's any games for the Xbox with a Vibe in it - I'd have to buy a new game if there was!

Is this game out already? Of not, when is it supposed to be released? That's really cool to see a Vibe in it!

GTC Africa is out, in fact I rented it a few weeks ago. The Vibe flys!!!!! However, being that it is in a video game, you will notice some different handling characteristics in th game as opposed to the street.... Also, if you get the game, you will need to do some searching for the Vibe. There are 6 different teams (best of my recollection) and I think only two of the teams had the Vibe available.

Is the game any good? Fun to play? Challenging?

After playing The Gran Turismo Saga. I got hooked on racing games

Hey yank, it is on sale now. I was just wondering how good the game was. I too love to play GT3 and a lot of driving games are way to fake compared to it.

When I rented GTC.... I liked it somewhat.... however the control engine leaves a little bit to be desired..... But then again, I am probably a little bit finicky as driving games are the only video games that I play and have played just about any title you can name..... I wasn't impressed with the control on it.... it drove almost like the cars were driving on big balloon tires.... in other words, major body roll... If it had been programmed with the cars being able to slide some, the control would have been better..... Bottom line.... I rented the game, played it for a few days..... lost interest..... Probably a good title to check out at the local rental store to see our favorite vehicle on the screen.... but it's not a long termer........

I have almost given up on renting games. It costs like $6 to rent a game now. I think that's way too much. I can buy GTC new for around $25. If I don't like it, I can sell it to a used game store or maybe even purchase it used at the store. I might have to go get it though. I haven't really tried any other driving games yet. It will be interesting to see how it stacks up to GT3 rally racing.

Ditto on rental prices. New game prices really haven't changed in a while, yet rentals have gone from $3.00 or less, to $4 or more.Amazon.com has GTC for $30 http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/st ... 35-5843100# Some of the reviews I've read say simply that it is an average driving game. Definately not as great as GT3 or 4, but not nearly as crappy as Test Drive 1,2,3,4,5, ect.
