Just got a new Abyss Vibe GT. Got some extra money to spend this month so I've been reading the posts here and web sites and anything else I can find on intake systems. Seems a lot of people here like the Injen CAI. I read something (somewhere) that the AEM system gives more power in the lower RPMs. That sounds better to me. Or am I wrong? I can't decide. Someone please tell me what to buy and why I should buy it and where to buy it! :-DThanks a ton for any comments, tips, and advice.Mark

Can't go wrong with either one. I have an AEM and love it!

First of all, congrats on the Vibe purchase and welcome to Genvibe! I have to agree with Quickag, you can't really go wrong. The Injen tends to be a bit cheaper and that's why I chose it myself, but either one would be a fine choice. As far as the where, I bought mine from Ptuning.com and was very happy with the service. The purchase took no time at all and the delivery was quick.

Almost all of the CAI (Injen, AEM or TRD) will offer the somewhat same improvements... All the different makers parts are priced extremely competitively against each other. I basically got the TRD CAI for my Matrix just because of the sweet (removed) color. I was going to get an AEM or Injen intake beforehand, until a guy stepped in and told us the price for the TRD CAI was $205.00. Injen and AEM will be around $200 or so.You'll be happy with whatever you get. I believe that the CAI and Exhaust is the best combo for looks + sound + improvement.-Slink
