Well I can appreciate the skill & craftmanship a project like that would require....but why???....I guess if money is no object why not??? The option would be nice but I wouldnt do it LOL !!! It would freak out other Lambo owners...."what the hell does that Mustang have?"...."oh its the new 5.0..LOL"If anything take that chassis & throw a Lambo Muira body on it. Modern tech with classic 60s styling!!!The car that started it all !!! http://www.rankopedia.com/CandidatePix/29305.gif

lambo's have the engine in the rear, correct? it looks like in the after shots that they maintained that. so why would you put a bigger storage area up front? what's the point? still can't hold that much. i guess the only emoticon for this situation is /facepalm.

The photo links aren't working for me.Is this what the hub-bub is about?http://blogs.insideline.com/st....htmlIf so, I'm surprised at the hate. Regarding the body work, the rear of the car is not that good looking, but the rest is fine. As for the mechanics of it, eh, why not? I'm more old school, so wouldn't care to lose my minimal back seat to a mid-engine, but if you could make the handling great (pretty iffy, I'd admit), that could be a lot of fun.I'm reminded of Corvairs in the late 60's that had mid-engine V-8 conversions that could be quite the track terror. Also some Olds Toronado 455 cu. inch conversions that were monsters on the drag strip.I mean, not my cup of tea and I can certainly think of many more ways I'd spend my money, but frankly it looks a lot better than a Countach.+1 on the Miura idea.

Given the name on the door in the background of picture 1:General Sitehttp://www.rhcollectibles.com/2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Mustang Tractorrihttp://www.rhcollectibles.com/...sold=Images of Buildhttp://www.ecarlist.com/showro...2.jpgThe crown jewel of our private collection: The Tractorri. The short version? This is a body-in-white ’07 Mustang shell with the mechanicals from a Lamborghini Gallardo underneath. From the ABS to the AWD to the E-gear transmission everything works. The long version adds two more Mustangs for parts, thousands of hours of labor and enough one-off parts to make most show cars blush. Oh, and our president drives it around--he put over 1500 miles on it this summer alone! Built and maintained by our own Rick Roush this is a werewolf in wolf’s clothing!
