Making the accelerator pedal lighter

Is there a way to make the accelerator pedal "lighter" or easier to push? I have an 03 GT, and I'd like to have a little more finesse with the gas pedal for downshifting and revmatching.

Replace the accelerator cable run that's on the throttle body with a larger one, a bigger spring too and/or adjust the position (move) the accelerator pedal to get more stroke.Or get a heavier spring to get a better feel for the throttle. Too light and you'll have little feel for the pedal (just like the 09/10's)!
