I would be shocked if it didn't include the Pontiac clones... Only real difference are a few bits, all cosmetic...

I just spent a few minutes over on safercar.gov... Holy crap, there are a LOT of complaints about loss of the electric power steering.

They say around 20-30k miles the power steering can basically shut off around 10-15mph thus eliminating the help. You can still steer, it's just harder. I have had experience with non power steering but I'm sure many new drivers haven't, thus they could freak, get the wheel stuck in one position and as the car slows it turns into something. But yes there is a recall.

yeah I think its all cobalts 05-07, and 08-10 all models but the ss. I've heard that the turbo SS 08-10 model has a different pump maybe... we shall see theres no fix stated yet just that its recalled. meh not as life threatening as a gas pedal getting stuck though

My old 07/G5,,traded that in on the VIBE. The steering was a little funky just when I backed up. I had a head on colision with a G6,the insurance co paid to have it fixed, but I was leary driven it after that
