1 remove control arm, only 3 bolts and 2 nuts, simple enough. I did not remove the brakes, rotors, struts. just unbolted the control arm from the ball joint. my car has 115k so the control arm did not pull right off. I used a come-along attached to control arm and other side to front frame hook (hole) then used a hammer to pull the control arm out. it pulls out toward the front. 2 press the old bushings out. very tricky even with a small press. the rear bushing is solid. so while being pressed by the press, i used a knife to cut it out. 3 you have to reuse the old football shaped rod, to get this out of a block of rubber, i used a air saw to shave off the rubber. pic of it after it was shaved.4 i used a drill with wire attachment and cleaned it up. nice and clean, pic 5 the old metal sleeve must be reused so i again used the saw to cut out as much rubber as i could. pic6 used a die grinder to remove the left over rubber7 pressed the new energy suspension busing making sure the arrow on the bushing faces the front of the car. you have to press it farther then flush to get the bottom side lips to come out. make sure not to grease this process8 then you great the ID of the bushing with supplied grease, and press the football shaped piece in9 the rubber covers the top and bottom of this bushing, they also have orientation labeled on them. 10 front bushing is just basic press out the old and press in the new. again only grease the ID of the bushing. then push in the new metal cylinder. 11 that is all there is to it. bolt on the control arm and enjoy the tight and awesome response. 12 I only did driver side due to time constraints. will do the passenger side over the weekend and take more before and after pictures.even only done one side, i can feel the difference! well not sure how to add images directly to here... guess i have to do one post a picture? what a pain..
