What the...?

I am new to the board so HI! I own a Mono-tone Shadow Vibe GT with the moon and tunes package. I have this one small little insignifigant question.... What are those things impeding my amp installation under BOTH the driver's and passenger seats? They look like little amps (200W Factory Stereo ) the wiring appears to run toward the doors but I do not know for sure.I would disconnect them and see what doesn't work but I am afraid they might be something airbag related, and I do not want to mess with that!!! Anyone know for sure?

i believe the one is the power converter for the 115v dash plug. the other one could be an amp for the radio. not sure on the last one though.

More and likely they are the wiring for the following:Passenger seat: wiring for the passenger seatbelt sensor (weight sensor) and the actual seatbelt latch sensor.Driver seat: wiring for the seatbelt latch sensor.Anything else I wouldn't know unless I went out to look under my seat myself.

This is what I initially thought as well, but there is a monster plug with about 10 or so wires in it. I traced out the seat belt sensor / weight sensor wires and they seem to go some where else. The only reason I think it might be the speaker amps is because it has heat sinks on it, and surely those silly little sensors wouldn't warrent the need for that much heat dissipation!!

Under the passenger seat I think is the amp for the 200 watt amp for the moon and toon package.

The more I look at it the more I think that as well. Driver's seat has the (removed) in seat sensor and the passenger side has the amp. I will diconnect and see what happens (or doesnt ) I just hope I don't get hit by an airbag. Does anyone know if disconnecting the (removed) sensor will affect anything?

Be careful, I think the GT has the side airbag sensors under the seats If it is like Toyota, there would be a yellow connector. Safer if you make a trip to the service dept. to verify components.
